International Bottled Water Association Announces Official Theme for
Annual Convention and Trade Show -- “Everyone’s a Winner”
Las Vegas, Nevada; October 3 – 6, 2006
ALEXANDRIA, VA – The International Bottled Water Association (IBWA)
today announced the official theme, “Everyone’s a Winner,” for
the IBWA 2006 Annual Convention and Trade Show, to be held in Las Vegas,
Nevada, at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino from October 3 – 6,
2006. This dynamic convention and trade show event is specifically designed
for bottled water professionals. IBWA provides an extensive seminar program
to educate bottled water professionals about innovative technologies, processes,
and industry trends to help them succeed and meet the challenges of today
and the future. This state-of-the-art, bottled water-specific trade show
will showcase the premier processing, packaging, equipment, and services
for the global bottled water industry.

comes to educational seminars and showcasing the services and advanced
technology of the bottled water industry,” stated IBWA President

and IBWA remains the central force and source of information, technology,
representation, and support for the bottled water industry, as it has for
the past 48 years.
The convention also features the IBWA Aqua Awards, Plant Manager
of the Year Award, Route Salesperson of the Year Award, Bottled
Water Hall of Fame Award, and the new Directors’ Award. These
awards recognize outstanding contributions and excellence in the

The International Bottled Water Association (IBWA) is the authoritative source of information about all types of bottled waters. Founded in 1958, IBWA's membership includes U.S. and international bottlers, distributors and suppliers. IBWA is committed to working with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which regulates bottled water as a packaged food product, and state governments to set stringent standards for safe, high quality bottled water products. Additionally, IBWA requires member bottlers to adhere to the IBWA Bottled Water Code of Practice, which mandates additional standards and practices, that in some cases, are more stringent than federal and state regulations. A key feature of the IBWA Model Code is an annual unannounced plant inspection by an independent, third party organization.
